The relationship had been a short and swift ride to the alter. They kind of knew of each other before one day falling for each other and quickly heating up to the point that marriage was inevitable. Unlike many of their peers, they had opted to wait until marriage to consummate their love. Being it was only a few hasted short months to that glorious moment, some wondered if they had a child coming, but that was for another time.

What mattered most at this time was that the ceremony had been short and sweet. Thankfully, the toasts at the reception were just as short and just as sweet. Their passion was raging red hot and the sooner they could get to the honeymoon suite, the better things would be for them. If anything, any delay would lead to the spontaneous combustion of their clothing as their bodies screamed and ached for each other.

Such a torturous start would eventually prove to be an omen of things to come. The rush to the hotel nearly cost them several speeding tickets, as Alex didn’t trust the limo to get there fast enough. His Evelyn couldn’t wait for him any longer.

The fifty yard dash to the room broke all manners of records for the grand hotel, whatever the name was, they were too in a hurry to get to the room. Once there, things got strangely awkward. They never talked about what to do or expect. Not that it was customary to do so, but having vowed not to be naked in front of each other, the reality that now was the first time caused a pause.

Alex wanted to make sure that Evelyn enjoyed that first time. Rushing in through the door and pinning her down was all of a sudden a bit brutish and barbaric sounding. Evelyn on her part couldn’t understand why her groom looked like he had seen a ghost inside the suite, and what a suite it was looking to be. Just one thing he had to do… carry her in… just one thing. carry her in

As he snapped out of his moment, he carried her in with little enthusiasm. He was now trying to figure what would be the perfect majestic approach to set her soul on fire. However, Alex was drawing not only a blank but worry that he would do things wrong and leave her hurt. He had heard horror stories about women being hurt by the guy rushing in. One of his former classmates talked about feeling raped on the honeymoon because the guy had rushed too aggressively to get his fill.

As far as romance was concerned, it was for the birds and Hollywood. Alex realized, gripped in fear, that he had no idea what would actually satisfy his lady, let alone get her heated up. And stupid him, in haste, had forgotten his care pack that had the lubrication he would need.

It was time to stall things. Find an excuse to take his time, calm his nerves. This was the first time she would encounter him, this was going to set the tone for their relationship. This was setting the tone for a life time together. If he messed this up, she’d never forget, never let him live it down, never recover. What if he hurt her and made her… never mind… he was not going to risk her feeling raped. Not one bit.

Once in, he came up with some story about her needing to unwind and use the hot tub of the room. That way he could settle things in the place, make arrangements for their things to enjoy the honeymoon, and give her time to be ready for his grand entrance. That seemed to work for Evelyn who was starting to worry about her husband now having cold feet after a hurricane of a short courtship.

After what she thought was too long a soak, she hurried to get sexy and await his grand entrance. The man was careful to cover all the basic bases. He had picked out a comfortable yet sexy attire for her to slip into. He had put away her wedding dress just as she had instructed her matron of honor to do, but she was not able to make it right away, as Alex had peeled off way too fast for her to follow in the limo.

He had set additional mood enhancing touches to the place. Flowers were laid out that weren’t there before as well as oils that really set her mind at ease and put her in the mood. The man was every bit as awesome as she thought he was. Whatever crazy idea had crossed his mind, well, they seemed gone. And that put her at ease. She even noted how her body started to heat up in anticipation. She had no idea what would happen, but she knew one thing, her body was yearning for him and making it clear that it was ready.

By the time Alex was done stalling, Evelyn had cooled off and was falling asleep baffled by what lack of action there was. Alex had disappeared for a while and when he came back, he showered for a long time. By the time he was ready for bed, the matron of honor had come and gone with their things and it was late, really late.

OK, not so much very late as in just too tired from a long wedding day to stay up any more late.

Alex felt that now was the perfect time to apply what he had just learned from his quick search online. There was a formula to use that would ensure that he left his lady happy. This had better work too, as his future rode on it. Evelyn was looking annoyed and rejected as she was starting to drift off to sleep.

So, this was it, time to dive in. He got to the bottom of the bed and prepped himself to make his grand entrance on her. Shaking his arms like an athlete ready to compete, he made sure he was as limber as he could be and looked at his lady ready. She on her part thought he was stupid and pretended to fall asleep. She was mad at him and would deal with his manners another time. For now, before they ruined their first night, sleep was the best option.
