In Closing

I will continue this story to the logical conclusion that was hinted to in the many posts. This experiment is a whole lot of fun. I never thought I’d enjoy writing this much. When the story finally comes to a close, there may be a pause before the next story is continued.

Speaking of next story

The “Prologue” introduced a couple. When their story gets laid out, I will push the limits of my conservative concept of mature writing. The couple in that story now back from their honeymoon fall into the normal routine of working life. In time, things get a bit predictable. And with the threat of possible divorce on the horizon, both are wondering where things have gone wrong and what will happen next.

Decisions have to be made, assets have to be separated, and there is a social calendar and reputation to manage. But before calls to lawyers are made, the need to take a break from life takes center stage. At some point, the both understand that they need to reconnect. One knows exactly what to do and the other is too busy to notice what needs to be done.

On an oppressively hot summer day, both throw in the towel and decide to take a break from the grind of life. What happens on that break is what will be discussed in the coming posts. In the end, a bit of tough negotiations heats things up to break point. Something gives. What that something is… you’ll have to stay tuned.
