In his closing moments, he shifted his stance to warm up the room as he delivered deep heart felt warm wishes for the birthday of his lady. The crowd lapped up the emotions and reacted with a huge standing ovation worthy of a massive crowd adoring their favorite superstar. He could see that she was moved and highly touched. He also noted something slightly different in her eyes. His mental fingers couldn’t quite figure that one out, but it felt very sincere.

The performers all joined him on stage in singing happy birthday to his lady and all produced prop size boxes of similar design as the ones she had opened at the spa. As the crowd clapped and cheered, he informed everyone that they were getting a small gift to take home. As the audience revved up in glee, the performers opened up the big propped boxes and started tossing out the much smaller gift boxes out as he made his way towards he.

He could see her eyes looking quite differently at him as he approached. Getting down on his knee, making a grand gesture of it, he presented her the box he had reserved for her. The audience go quiet, as they thought a proposal was in the works. She took the box and opened it. Her eyes popped with joy and elation as she saw the pendant she had been wanting for the longest. It had all the right sparkle, character, reflection, and awesomeness she had always wanted!

The audience clapped and cheered as she threw herself into his arms and embraced him joyfully. Her man was every bit as thoughtful as he always was. She was so happy to be with him to close off her birthday celebrations. She felt convinced the man had not only forgiven her but understood what had needed to be done. She was with her crew and her man. This was perfection. She was jeweled with all her favorite pieces. It was perfect!

After the embracing was done, the attention was turned towards the stage. The lights were dimming. The show was now in it’s third act. The music was ramping up, the set was transforming. It was time to see how this story was going to wrap up.

With places set, and everyone back in their seat, she noticed that her man had managed to slip away from her. She couldn’t sense him, she couldn’t feel him. He had vanished. But to where?

As he made his way through the corridor to the back alley exit, his face changed back to it’s focused serious mode. He was going to be waiting for her arrival at home. There now was business to settle. A valuable lesson to be taught. The relationship had to recover from it’s horrible left turn and things had to be made right. She was going to finish learning her place tonight.
