Epilogue

Several beautiful rounds later, they separated from their loving embraces, she sat digesting her dinner in bed reflecting on the new twist on their relationship. She had uncovered so many things about her inner woman and loved her so much for being so strong and so vibrant. She felt she had won the lotto. Alex definitely needed her and understood her.

Evelyn chuckled as she thought of what he looked like working in the kitchen preparing desert. Oh she hoped that he’d cook up a few new discoveries as she was eager to offer herself up as desert.

Alex looked as his crafted icing on the cake he had prepared. She’d never know that this was one of the several cakes he had prepped on standby. The others were all tossed because they had aged before he could talk her into taking the hike with him. This cake was getting the full frosted treatment. His baking class had paid off. These things, he admitted quietly, gave him a better appreciation of the work his wife did at home for him when he worked long hours. He didn’t mind the lesson because in the end, she understood that he appreciated her efforts.

Although she would offer herself as desert, Alex had to admit having reached his performance limits. They would be sleeping in this perfectly hidden treasure of in-ground cabin tonight. In the morning, he’d surprise her again with other treats. Then, and only then, wheel her back to the house in the transportation he had hidden nearby. After all, he knew she’d be worried that they had to get to work on time, and showing her that he had taken care of this would further solidify the day’s lesson once and for all.

For now, it was time to add the cherry on top of the cake, bring it to her and let the night carry on with whatever goodness would transpire as the Sandman took them captive into another fairytale place of happy sweet loving.

3. The Summit - Chapter - 3 - Now that Alex has Evelyn's attention, he sets off to seduce her and show her his love for her. Evelyn is now finding it hard to fight for control and authority here... she's being bested in her element. But she does not want to get hurt. If only he would stop being so charming The Summit brings on the heat
4. Washed Out Resolve - Chapter - 4 - Evelyn is not getting her way. Alex has found a way to press all the right buttons. She feels like she's falling for him all over again instead of just being friends Alex is seeing the results of his hard work. He's getting his wife back. However, he has to pace himself and not fall off the edge. All this resolve can't get washed out prematurely
5. Too Late to Head Back - Chapter - 5 - Time had run out on Evelyn and she was giving in to Alex. Alex had found the magic touch that ignited their passions. Now, the clock ticks and it becomes too late to head back. Things definitely has changed. The First Hike has Summit and things of old have washed out and left new romance to bloom
