Bret was rapidly approaching the last stretch of his race towards the location he had planned for the second half of their date. It was a nice hide out spot where the landscape provided some shading from the blazing sun. There was a small entrance into the ground that could have once been a cave’s entrance. At the lowest point was a small pond of water… cool water at that. Few knew it existed. No one knew how it came to be.
There were no signs that allowed people to know it was there. The journey to get there was very challenging in the desert heat. Bret had his hydration system working overtime to keep him from succumbing to the heat. The distance from the hotel to the oasis was just long enough to be very dangerous. Bret had trained enough to handle this.
Once cooled, the ropes would come out of his bag and the kinkier play would take place. The goal was to convince Lacey to be tied up and suspended over the cool water. Maximal trust. Then, he’d use a few other special toys to please her and create a blushing experience to bond them together. Not one to stray from his conservative views, he was not going to torture Lacey and leave her unsatisfied, so it was more a trust exercise than a conquest to have sex.
Tangled Ropes

Lacey understood why Bret had been so confident. The first leg of the trip was too easy. Her driving skills allowed her to eat up the desert road at highway speeds that would give any driver a serious ticket. The second part of the drive was a bit more technical and was closer to highway speeds. The third leg was much tougher. There was no need to cross the narrows, which made Lacey very happy. However, all the dunes made for slow going, even with the motor grunting away to deliver speed.
During one of the dune crossings, Lacey saw Bret fly over one of the upcoming hills she had to tackle. It was watching a ballet on wheels. The way Bret controlled the bike and whipped it over the crests at will, was beautiful. Was turning Lacey on. A man who can muscle any machine over such harsh terrain in such heat had to be a special creature. The sand did not seem to grab at Bret’s speed much, but the bulging muscles in his legs suggested he had more than enough strength to overcome the resistance.
Not to be outdone, Lacey pushed her Suburban harder than she’d ever demanded it to perform. The sand flew in large plumes as she struggled to keep headed the right way. Keeping up with Bret was not going to be easy at all. Trusting her vehicle’s strong build, she bounced about the cabin in an effort to keep up. Her hopes was that once clear of the dunes, she’d be close enough to over take him and get to the destination first on the last leg of the trip.
The glistening skin of a sweaty Bret just drew Lacey in. He moved with great skill. No showing off. Just purposeful methodical systematic assault of the dunes. Whatever was in his back pack was seriously important. Bret did not trust it to the elements to have it waiting for their arrival, Lacey thought. It couldn’t be fragile though, given how much he was jumping over rocks and dunes.
Clearing her mind from her distraction, Lacey doubled down on driving to keep up. It was getting ever harder and the elevation changes steeper. All four tires were clawing, churning, and spewing heaps of sand all over the place as the automatic transmission struggled to find an appropriate gear to match the demands of a firmly planted gas pedal.
It was not long before the terrain leveled off and the dunes started to disappear in the rear view mirror. The path was tricky enough that speed would actually break the SUV. Lacey watched in astonishment as Bret increases his lead as he skipped ever more violently over the ever more jagged path. He’d zig, jump, then zag, jump… sometimes crossing her path, other times jumping over her SUV as he fought his way to stay in the lead.
The last leg of the trip was a climb for Lacey. A pass with several steep rocky climbs and steep descents. Bret had turned off the path and was going through a very narrow and challenging stretch of rocks that required slow methodical and skillful balancing.
Neither of them paid each other any mind. Adrenaline was pumping full blast. The winner was not only going to dictate the fun, but would probably have to look out for the loser and help them cross the finish line.
The GPS alerted Lacey of the closeness of the destination. The going was getting harder. One last climb before descending into the winner’s circle. There was no way Bret could win. Man vs machine made Lacey smile. Her future boyfriend was as manly as she’d ever seen them come. His suit had totally fooled her. She loved her men to be hardy as well as smart. Bret not only was both, but he was street smart, smooth, and filled with hidden surprises that delighted.
