The weekend is for chill they once said…but adulting keeps butting in
The weekend is for relaxing they once said….but you ask her to model heels
The weekend is for sleeping in they once said….but they forgot that little children don’t sleep in….ever
The weekend is for fun they once said….but…but…when?
Alas…fun now has to be planned….that they forgot to once say.
That’s the price of being responsible…even on the weekend…they probably would have once said

Due to the way parenthood works… there may be weeks when I can’t make the time to write epic long posts or continue storylines. Those days/weeks, I will share things I’ve posted on my social media or haven’t yet shared, or from the archives. There will be other posts that will give a glimpse of some of the writing I have done on my other blogs as well.
