Softest Touch

The running waters that sooths the soul

As he pushed his way through the crowds, he had a mission in mind. He was going to get to his lady before she had to leave for work. This split-shifting life was for the birds. He needed his lady. She was the water that cooled the rage the day created. From the heated battle making steel bend to his will, to the madness of rushing commuters, he needed his oasis… his lady’s lips.

She knew how to speak life into his beaten soul. She always held him so close and moved away the years of pain. He wanted to provide, he had tried, but the economy had changed, and now he was fighting on two fronts.

Work was rough, but he was tough. One day he would provide his queen the life she deserved. She didn’t need to work so hard at night. The night shift differential was needed to keep their rising rent from getting away from them. However, it was his job to protect and care for her, something he felt he was failing to do.

Keeping the lights on, keeping the romance alive, it was a set of battles he took very seriously and was determined to win.

The way his lady kissed him, submitted to him, trusted him, it was very serious. He had to live up to her expectations. He had to provide her better. He had to become better. He had to make her dreams come true. It was his sacred duty. His call. His mission. She deserved better.

Seeing the time on the local bank’s wall, he knew he had to push harder. Elbowing his way through, he pushed on towards home. Their ritual moment of him helping her into her uniform might sound silly to many, but to him, it was his only chance to quench his need. On days when he was able to arrive early enough, he would kneel at her feet, part her legs, and drink from the fountain of youth as his ears soaked in the melody of her moaning his name.

The way she ran her hands through his hair and pulled him in made the sacrifice of rushing home worth it. The skipped extra hours was worth it. They could have afforded a better place three blocks closer to the train if he stayed to do overtime, but missing out on the touch of his lady was not worth the sacrifice. His soul needed her soothing touch.

With the night classes done, he was armed with more skills to help heal her body from a night of hard work. It was his pleasure to hang back to the last minute… so he could welcome her home in the morning before rushing out to the mill.

He always made sure her breakfast was ready, for it was the most important meal. As she sat to eat, he would take off her shoes, peel back her uniform, and massage away her stress. With sadness, he had to leave for the day, but had the satisfaction of knowing he had helped her ease into the night part of her day.

Sometimes, during his lunch, she would wake up and don on some lingerie to snap a few photos to send his way. Those were life saving joys that made him work harder, faster, smarter, better. The promotions were coming. The bosses were noticing. A man on a mission got respected for his drive. In time, he’d be making the money they needed so she could transition back to the day shift. Then, the night would be theirs to burn up the sheets as he testified of his love for her.

How he missed orchestrating bliss. Hearing her say his name as he elevated her. Feeling her hunger… even her fight against the leather straps. It was all glorious and perfect. One day, his toys would be back to play. For now, he couldn’t delay, her time was near.

A well turned heel…

The door opened. He looked in. She was sitting on the edge, caressing herself, lost in thoughts. She was a vision. His vision. His lady. The stress of the commute was well worth the aggravation. He had just spared enough energy.

Sliding across the small room on his knees, letting all his gear fall by the way, his eyes connected with hers as she smiled sunshine into his heart. Her lips parted, her skin flushed even more red. He parted her legs even more.

She knew what he was going to do and was looking forward to being taken by him. His lips found her nipples as her hands wrapped around his neck. He traced a line to her neck and nibbled. The sweetest embrace as he connected with her lips. The well of living water spoke to his dry bones and revived his heart.

He was so glad he had taken a shower after work before heading home. She didn’t need to deal with the mess from his job. The unavoidable chaos of the commute was the side effect of rushing into his wife’s arms.

There was not enough time, so he gently secured her arms behind her as he arched her back into his favorite angle. Elbows parting her legs ever wider, his ears enjoying the moans that were crescendoing out of her lips. His tongue teased slightly north of swollen heat, his beard scratching the itch she had been saving for him. Hips starting to gyrate, he could scarcely stop salivating, he pulled her closer to himself.

Hungrily he devoured her. Ever careful not to rip her nylon, he unstrapped the garter belt, rolled the nylon down, then turned his undivided attention to quenching his thirst as she started to scream his name.

Tonight, there was no holding back. His needs were screaming for her. She had the sweetest touch that would solve his desires. Taking a little break, he stepped back to watch what music he had created. With pouty lips and big round eyes, she lifted her leg and rested them on his chest. He knew what she needed. He removed her nylon, one leg at a time, and massaged her. She trembled.

It was time.

  1. Simply beautiful. Too often we do not take those steps to do that extra something. Flowers and chocolates are amazing but nothing compared to the thought behind them, the hustling just to get home, the longing for the safe place the other offers. what a wonderful ode to reconnecting and recharging. There is nothing selfish about rejuvenating ourselves in order to have something left to give.

    1. Totally agree:) it’s the thought that propels the actions of love.

I took inspiration from how I always rush to get home. Love my family. Love my lady. No place like home
