V8 Chapter 3 Teaser

Todd was not sure why his lady was not opening up to him. Meg was sweet, yet, a tough masculine gal. Watching her defend her best friend with extremely loyalty was a turn on to him. While Todd felt unable to compete with Mark on the chivalry and macho thing, he knew he could take care of his lady and treat her right.

The problem, Todd felt, that Meg was holding something back. There were few telltale signs. Those were hard to come by. However, they were there.

Meg had a thing for women. Two different types of women at that. There was the athletic tall lean muscular type that Meg found very attractive and there was the shorter, yet still tall, curvy book worm type.

Of course, Todd never spoke to Meg about this. It would be super awkward to suggest to your lady that you thought she was attracted to ladies… when you’re trying to keep her coming back to your arms.

Todd didn’t mind what Meg was into. It’s the secrecy that bothered him. So much so that it cooled his abilities to impress Meg. If something didn’t give soon, Todd was afraid that things would cool too much between them.

Todd felt tired from having to compete with all the other guys who hovered around Meg and Stacy. It tested his resolve to stay focused and not jealous. Now, to find out that Meg was also distracted by physically fit women, well, there was nothing Todd felt he could do about that.

The last bit of annoyance Todd had was Meg’s car. It was a great car for the era that it had come from. Sadly, no matter what efforts anyone did, Meg was not letting go of that car. It’s not that she couldn’t afford better or her family hadn’t tried to give her better. Meg didn’t want better.

Whatever secret was associated with this car, it was huge. Todd had tried to figure this one out and couldn’t. Meg was completely silent about it. The only hint Todd had was when they went out on dates. If Todd wanted to drive, it had to be his own car. He could not drive her Nova. Meg only drove her Nova.

There had been a brief discussion with Mark once, Todd recalled. Mark had risen to the level of being able to afford himself any car he wanted. Well, just about any. However, Todd noted with intrigue, Mark kept a ‘67 Vette around.

Meg seemed to know all the specs about the car and had dropped many hints about wanting to drive it one day. Mark had been extra nonchalant about the request and Meg had been extra pouty and moody about not getting to drive the Vette.

Stacy, bless her soul, didn’t care about those things. Todd was able to discuss normal things that didn’t involve old cars with Stacy whenever Meg and Mark got going about their old machines. Although they were good friends, Todd seldom asked for favors of Stacy.

Stacy was good at keeping her word but would take a rain-check whenever Mark was flying into town. Todd appreciated Stacy’s devotion to meeting her man and growing their relationship.

Todd had picked up on one little secret. Stacy had a thing for kink and Mark seemed to not know this. Too many secrets. Too many hidden desires that were going unmet.

It was so unfortunate as well. The types of kink Todd thought he observed were the very ones he wished he could tell Meg and have her participate in. However, Meg’s reputation at taking no crap from anyone proved to be a bit too intimidating for Todd. The rejection would be too painful. Best to keep things smooth and not rock the boat too much.

Little did anyone know that the moment Mark placed his tired-sounding phone call, things would change for everyone. Many bottled up secrets were going to get spilled in very unexpected ways.
