V8 Chapter 4 Teaser

In an effort to make his place more hospitable for Meg, Todd had made several changes. They were small changes, all things considered, but the impact was significant. Todd could not wait to show Meg the improvements. They’ve been very busy the past two weeks and had not spent much time at his place. When Meg would finally come over, Todd would show her how much he had prepared the place for her moving in. Then, he’d asked her to move in.

Something about how her smooth skin shown in the light
The way the moon beamed
Made her seem so perfect
For she was indeed perfect

It was a shame that she wanted more
The kind he was afraid to give
The extra that would leave marks
On such flawless skin

What a disastrous sin
If in deed he was to mark her skin
Etching it with what she hoped was bliss
But his heart was no in this

How could he let her know
Her body was a temple
It was his duty to keep is so
But more… she implored…

V8 chapter 4 Teaser

The look on Todd’s face would have said it all if anyone was there to take a look. There finally was plenty of room for a woman to make her mark and leave her authority in his place. For good measure, Todd had gone out of his way to get a bunch of new picture frames for Meg to fill. Even taking a few photos from his phone to have printed so that she would see herself belonging in his place.

This was not something done lightly. Todd had been thinking about this a while. As he pushed the last of the storage boxes below his bed, with a bit of a shove, the thought of sharing living quarters made his heart race.

His heart raced. Todd had never done this before. He loved Meg. But it was still too early to tell her this. What if she got the wrong idea and thought of marriage before he was ready? This was not the place in life for such a serious commitment. However, letting Meg think she could do better was giving Todd a serious headache.

In time, the two of them would figure this out. Todd wanted to things the right way… although asking Meg to move in was going against his upbringing. What was Todd to do. Meg had options from both sides of the aisle.

Trepidations

As Todd laid his mattress down, he tested the bed. The last box had lifted the center of the bed a little. There was a slight rocking motion to the bed. Thankfully, with carpeting below, the sound of the frame knocking slightly on the floor was well muted. There weren’t any neighbors below that would hear anything, but Todd’s experience at his last apartment with neighbors making love loudly had kept him up more nights than he cared for.

There was another thought that was creeping into mind. Meg had suggested things get a bit more fun between them. She wanted to feel Todd’s dominance. The very notion scared him. What dominance? What did that mean? Especially in this MeToo era…

The conversation had not been that productive. They sound disagreed about the very definition of masculinity and Meg had stormed off feeling very frustrated with Todd.

Upon reviewing the debate, Todd couldn’t help but wonder why someone with such beautiful silky skin would want a man to damage it with a belt or a whip. Why would he even risk cutting her smoothness with harshness?

The words of Meg explaining how she felt liberated when her body was restrained made no sense to Todd. The photos Meg had shown her ruffled Todd’s feathers badly. On one hand, the rope work was amazing and appealed to a part of Todd he didn’t know he had. On the other hand, the thought of doing such savagery to Meg was unthinkable. Especially the photo of a woman laid across a suited man’s knee while he spanked her rear all manners of pink and red.

Todd wanted to please Meg, but there had to be another way. And not the other way that Meg spoke of either… as that one was equally bothersome to Todd. Putting Meg in harm’s way just to rescue her… was beyond ludicrously crazy. Why would a man purposefully put his woman in harm’s way just to attempt to rescue her? What if he messed up? Then what?

Didn’t help that Meg teased him that Mark understood how to do that effectively. That Mark was smooth with his rescuing and took joy out of being the knight in shining armor. The only consolation Todd had was that no one could vouch that Mark ever put a woman in harms way for his pleasure.

With slight annoyance, Todd shook his head as he tried to fix the boxes under the bed once more. If Meg felt the rocking of the bed, who knows what other temptations she’d want him to attempt. Todd hated having to disappoint Meg and turning down her requests. She was amazing but her thirst for kink was out of his understanding.

When nightmares become reality

One of Todd’s nightmares was having to rescue Meg in her Nova. It was an old car without the modern safety systems he was used to. It was also badly overpowered. A big V8 put a ton of weight over the front axle and left the driven rear wheels struggling for traction whenever it rained or snowed.

Nothing Todd did to push for an SUV worked. Meg had this look on her face… a bit of wild… untamed energy… unbridled thoroughbred nervousness… a desire for mischief… whenever it rained or snowed. Meg had taken to the campus parking lot a few times to do donuts in the snow.

Stacy, for reasons that defied logics, thought it was the coolest thing to do. Her Civic, at least, was front wheel drive and could pull out of most situations. Todd didn’t want to have to get up from his life and go shovel Meg free when all she had to do was buy an SUV. Her family was loaded with money. There was no need to stay at risk of getting stuck.

The phone buzzed. Todd looked at it and smiled. It was Meg. The smile vanished once he read the text. Meg was too tipsy to drive and Stacy was in a hurry to meet Mark. They had taken the Nova. The meet up was in the woods.

Todd lost color. He knew those woods well. They were not for the faint of heart. It was beautiful land for those who admired the great outdoors. If one was not equipped with a good 4×4, one was not getting out of those woods without help.

If anything happened to his dear Meg, he would have to rescue her. His little RAV4 didn’t have enough power to tow that Nova either. The local towing guy was also the bar owner who charged ridiculous rates for towing services. As a gentleman, Todd couldn’t expect his lady to pay for her own towing bill.
