Resisting the urge to return the text with a “why did you let her take your car” text… Todd sat down to weigh out his options. Maybe. Just maybe. Mark had his Jeep there. Just in case. Or. He could find someone with a Jeep or Tahoe to borrow.
Shaking his head, Todd knew he was doing that nervous worry thing Meg hated. He needed to man up. If anything went wrong, he would figure it out when he got the call. For now… Todd needed to distract himself.
With a quick check of the weather app, Todd was relieved to know that there was no rain in the forecast for the woodlands as well as their town. Might as well run some errands and wait.
Wait… is that… no… can’t be…
Todd remembered that he needed some drumsticks. Stacy couldn’t get them because Mark was coming to town. The favor would have saved him a detour on his way, but it was his sticks he needed, and this would keep his mind from worrying about Meg.
It was an uneventful ride to the store. Todd was more acutely aware of the path that rose through the outer edges of the woods on the way to the story. It had rained some time before and the eroded dirt had made the curve a bit slick. Most locals avoided the roads right after rain. One could easily miscalculate a corner and find themselves drifting off into a ditch.
Given how much eroded land was still on the road, Todd assumed the only tire marks he saw was from some out of town person who was taking the corners way too fast. They had managed to stay on the road pretty good. Impressed, Todd smiled. That driver must have been having a lot of fun with a really good car.
Arriving to the store, Todd noticed a Nova parked on the grass next to the parking lot. The store’s parking area was a few feet below the roadway, so one had to go downhill at the entrance to find a spot. Whoever had parked that Nova was not going to be able to back up and out of their grassy spot. The angle was too severe… Todd thought. Just the kind of mischief Meg would have commented on with a silly grin of adventure on her face.
Once inside, Todd made a point of picking up one of Meg’s favorite band’s album. This was the only one missing from her collection. A nice little surprise for his lady. The cover was a bit odd though… it had a woman kneeling by a bed with a rose in her mouth… partially naked… with handcuffs securing her wrists to the bed. Weird, Todd thought.
On leaving, Todd saw a middle aged woman get into the Nova. Something about how this lady flicked her hair raised Todd’s temperature. Meg flicked her hair the same way when building up her confidence to tackle a challenge. The woman fired up the Nova on the second attempt. A snap rap of the gas pedal twisted the frame of the car. That was impressive power, Todd thought.
The woman, rounded in curves, would have caught Meg’s fancy, to Todd’s annoyance. The curves weren’t text book sexy, but comfy curvy. Plainly dressed, Todd reckoned the woman would not attempt to reverse up the hill to exit. Well, she did. As expected, traction was instantly lost.
An urge to go rescue her welled over Todd and gripped him with a sense of dread. There was nothing he could do. Pushing would be pointless. Telling the woman what to do would probably annoy her. But, the way she adjusted herself behind the wheel, as if convincing herself she could escape, added fuel to the reddening of Todd’s cheeks.
Bewildered by his feelings, he felt awful gaining pleasure at this woman’s misfortune. This was wrong. Sinfully wrong. The woman tried again, with greater determination, and Todd’s knees nearly buckled under him. The only time he felt this captivated and weak was when Meg was teasing him at a dinner table by rubbing her legs against his.
The woman looked over at him. Her face was red from probable embarrassment. Her eyes widened. Her mouth shaped like an “O”. The pink of her face turned crimson. She stomped her pedal and revved the motor hard for a second.
Todd wished the ground would open and swallow him whole. The woman laughed as she covered her mouth. Shaking her head, she slipped the car into drive and made her way around a parked car to get back on the asphalt to leave. But not before pausing to look at the dumbfounded Todd and winking at him. She then took off as if nothing had happened.
Todd, on the other hand, felt like he needed to see a shrink. He had just uncovered the most evil and most vile of sins his testosterone could ever serve him. He had gained significant arousal at the distress of a woman. This was wrong. So wrong.
Now, Todd had another secret he had to keep from Meg. No good could ever come of her knowing this shame. If anything, now he needed to be tied to a post and whipped for being such a bad boy… a notion that didn’t sit well with Todd either.

taken from social media… teasing out this post before it goes live
Getting the place ready
Todd had to move.
The new place offered quiet and peace for a change
All the noise from his upstairs neighbors had been too much
Todd didn’t know if he had to call the police of just sit back and analyze why these guttural sounds made him sweat
“Oh daddy….harder…please”
Or
“Take me. Take me. Take me now!”
Or
“You’ve been very naughty. Time for your punishment”
Let’s not even talk about the howls…the screams…the laughter….the groans
Or worse…the furniture rattling and crashing about as bodies thrashed furiously all night
As far as Todd was concerned…they played the sickest versions of tag and hide and seek.
But. As crazy as it was…something deep in him resonated with this
So.
To fix this. Todd moved.
Then.
His girlfriend… Meg… started dropping hints that she needed that cacophony in her life.
Todd was besides himself…. But that was not the worst of it
This Friday…on the blog…the teaser will drop…and a face will blush in public humiliation…. All before the next chapter arrives this weekend
