On two different occasions, Betsy had the wonderful idea of surprising Jerry on the road. Sometimes quite literally on the road. Other times, while he was traveling for work on the road. After the lovely treatment at the resort, it was only fitting that they both continue their creativity and make the best of the momentum.

The Pickup Artist

Betsy set out to recreate their wonderful second honeymoon. It was spectacular the first time but there were no photographic memories for their special digital vault. Once Jerry heard of the plan, he was beyond thrilled. However, not sure when the moment would happen, he made sure to always have room on his phone for photos, or have a point-and-shoot camera nearby.

And so it was, one particularly long day of conferences, his boss informed him that he was able to take the rest of the week off. He only had one task, pick up a client at a truck stop to bring into the next town. This was not the first time a similar request was made, but the first time it was done with the rest of the week off. Jerry was not in the mood to babysit any client, for there was just enough days for him to catch the next flight and meet up with his wife.

As he raced the rental out to the rendezvous point, the weird notion that he was going to rush to meet his wife sent waves of blushes through him. Jerry wished that he could make this fantasy come true.

As he closed in on the destination, he couldn’t help but smile. The very familiar silhouette of his wife sitting on luggage was coming into focus. She had taken the initiative to recreate their amazing resort vacation.

He noticed her blushing as he pulled up.

“Sir Jetset”

As the gentleman that he was, he quickly jumped out and opened the door for his lady. He was starting to understand what had taken place. He was loving the chance to get away from the conference for a few days. There was not much he was missing actually, as all the material was already safely tucked away on his computer.

Driving off was a challenge. Not an un-welcomed one, but a serious one. His lady had propped up her legs on the dash to get a bit more comfortable. His blood pressure rose. He needed to take her right then and there, but he had to be focused. He had to get her safely to their destination.

The ride was a bit long, but the conversations flowed and they soon found themselves flirting and blushing like high school romantics.

Later That Night

The temperatures have a strange habit of dropping pretty low in the open desert states. While super hot during the day, Betsy was not prepared for such a temperature swing. Dinner had been amazing. Their conversations sizzling. She wanted a photo to remember the day before settling in for the night.

Jerry kindly offered his jacket as he pulled over into what looked like a tunnel to nowhere. Puzzled, Betsy took the jacket and stepped out to see what she could do with the setting.

Her radiance was of angelic proportions. As he saw her lean against the wall of the tunnel, Jerry snapped his photo. His hand barely still enough to have the photo show without blur. His heart pounded. He wanted her. She was his.

As Betsy looked up, she recognized the burning flame etched across his smile. She was wanting him as well. With a nod that let her hair swoop down into his favorite position, she gave her best come-hither smile.

For the sake of their privacy and compliance with anti-public-nudity laws… let’s just say the wolves howled in unison as these two lovebirds devoured each other beautifully

Back at the hotel

Betsy got comfortable and flipped on the game. She was a huge fan and wanted to see how her team was doing. Jerry didn’t mind, he was more than happy to curl up next to his wife and enjoy the game. Only, his game was a little different.

It was not long before he was rounding the bases and scoring goals while setting up field goals. Betsy, not one to not be very competitive, pushed the leader board score a few rounds as she set up her hat trick. In between title bouts, Jerry napped a photo of Betsy clutching the comforters as she teased him for being able to withstand her best moves.

At one point, the mirror told a tale of how Betsy arched her back and welcomed Jerry to new heights of bliss. It was a good thing that the hotel had thick walls, because the chorus of names being called would have embarrassed the most hardy of sleepers.

All that sensational play made for famished feelings that needed to be addressed. The two lovers made their way back to the car. This time, dressed a lot more appropriately for the cool of the night, they went out and found a sweet bite to eat.

As the night wore on, the two locked eyes and messaged their intent to go for the title match. The springs of the mattress were most likely recovered enough. Jerry clicked the remote starter and walked his lady to the car. Betsy playfully prance ahead and struck a pose that weakened Jerry’s knees.

This one had to be captured on film as well. The shot was perfect.

The rumor was that they didn’t sleep for the rest of the night. Once thoroughly spent, they slept comfortably dreaming of what they would do to fill the rest of their days on vacation.

What is not clear to anyone was the final score of the title match. The consensus was that the game was left tied up in leather and needed a rematch at a later date.

What is clear, on the ride back to the airport, Betsy had her legs propped on the dash and they both had that satisfied smirk plastered across their faces.
