Dating had been a blast. Alex and Evelyn were madly in love. They paid each other all the attention they needed. Planning a wedding went as one would expect. Now, newly married, one would expect things to go smoothly. Sadly, life got in the way of expectations.

First Hike Trip

It wasn’t long before the cares of life got in the way of romance. Alex was paper pushing to the best of his abilities. Evelyn was feeling neglected and thought her marriage was over.

All the nudging and encouraging hardened Alex’s resolve to move up the career ladder fast. For him, providing meant making a ton of money. For Evelyn, spending time together was providing a secure and safe relationship.

By the time Alex woke up to his reality, Evelyn was ready to pack up her bags and go. Not one to quit easily, Alex set up to have one last push to win his wife’s heart back to himself.

The First Hike

Because his wife was a fitness enthusiast, hiking was a normal and natural thing for her to do. Alex felt this was the one area where he could impress his bride the most. The one area she least expected him to excel at.

Alex was a city dweller by nature and Evelyn grew up in the suburbs. It took a bit of persuasion to talk Evelyn into taking a hike, but it wasn’t long before the two were off to conquer a few hills.

What happens in the hills should have stayed in the hills. However, this blog tells the tale of how Alex managed on the trails as Evelyn watched in awe.

Eventually, Evelyn had enough. It was time to take the lead and bring this little trip back to reality and home as well. Alex had tried… and it was a nice effort too. But, all good things must come to an end… or must they?

She feels like she's falling for him all over again instead of just being friends Alex is seeing the results of his hard work. He's getting his wife back. However, he has to pace himself and not fall off the edge. All this resolve can't get washed out prematurely
Too Late to Head Back - Chapter - 5 - Time had run out on Evelyn and she was giving in to Alex. Alex had found the magic touch that ignited their passions. Now, the clock ticks and it becomes too late to head back. Things definitely has changed. The First Hike has Summit and things of old have washed out and left new romance to bloom
