Working with the inspiration of a few followers on social media and trying to picture what happens to a Dom when his sub cuts his heart… this series has come to life.
That Moment When Darkness Falls
Women have long known and explained the perils of being hurt emotionally by a cavalier lover. Men have kept quiet about their journey when they’re hurt.
The spotlight gets shined on one fictional man’s journey into his vault of pain as he tries to maintain a proper posture of composure.
Pain, when left unchecked can destroy.
Recovery is not to be taken for granted or lightly.
The story will unfold both on social media and on the blog. The trilogy is end-capped by additional musings.
The bulk of the story is told in poetry, but the meat in the deep, is all prose.
Don’t bring a flashlight, the path has been set, you’ll come through just fine on the other side.

The darkness of heaviness.... of a wound beyond words

That place... where men go to hide their hearts
That place... he hid himself from himself... this was the curse of being oneself
Cold. Safe. Tucked away. Alone.
The last place she wanted him to go
