The entirety of this project was built as a writing experiment laced with thought experimentation. It would stand to reason that the way the story is told should be just as experimental. And so it is, the story has a few layers to it.

Kicking off the second third of the trilogy…

Socially Shared Dark Vaulted Series

His phone beeped an alert
It was a friend sharing a thought
He could spare a minute
Checking in would only take a second

To his great surprise, there was a change in tide
His lady had posted something that was quite private
Taking a second look, to be sure it wasn’t a miss of his pride
He reread the message and felt the blow to this privates

The cryptic message said it all to well
Some how, he had made a fool of himself
But he had no idea what was his crimes
All this had him beside himself

This required a skilled response, if any
Because, the court of the many
Had spoken their verdict against masculinity
He was guilty, even if he wasn’t, the insanity

There was no room to spare
Any words shared in his defense
Would only sour the mood of others in her corner
Trapped. Caught by the tide of social media

To make matters worse, he had no grounds to be upset
Sure, she had betrayed his sensibilities
But they had not agreed to keep this a secret
And here he was, on display, without a defense

Her literal message was just a simple inquiry
A clarification of what had slipped by her mentally
Now convinced of his guilt by insanity
She dug in her heels to purge him of his iniquity

But, her powers of observation
Once trained on her lover’s lack of approximation
Something changed, yet again, requiring her touch of meditation
Before her eyes, he was experiencing a new set of transformations

Curious, she needed to know more
There would be no new status update
This was now very much a private debate
What else would this change elucidate?

Lightly Vaulted Darkness

The original plan was to have the series develop in the form of announcements on social media prompting the reader to click on a link to come to the site and read the whole post.

People don’t like to be directed away from their favorite social media platform needlessly. So the social media gurus tell us bloggers. To allow a bit more comfort with the reader, the story was told differently. The first two thirds of the trilogy got planned for social media consumption. This middle third of the trilogy can be consumed solo on social media… but bonuses live on the blog for the faithful readers.

The majority of the story is being told on social media. Not on every channel, but a small sample size of two. One getting the full treatment and the other a lesser one. Had to keep the story platform appropriate.

For the readers of the blog, they’re not missing a beat. They see it all. Below will be the middle section of the story. No spoilers, you’ve got to read it to unpack it.
