Each year, a few thoughts gets inked on this blog as a means of inspiring conversation and thought. While it’s advised to follow a motif of some kind, history says the Wolf Pack meanders about a collection of related thoughts.
This year is no different. We’re going to dive into a small collection of musings once again.

The Wolf Wednesday is in it’s fourth iteration and the pack has grown steadily. At this junction in the journey, it’s not a bad idea to review some of the lessons learned in order to better apply them to the future.
The many members of the tribe count on the alphas to uphold their duties in the most honorable of ways. What revelations they bring will influence the choices they make.
Some will grow to become their own tribe leaders, others will adopt a more supportive role within a tribe, and others will opt out of the pack entirely.
The goal of this chapter in the series is to share learned insights and tackle the subject in a manner to inspire others to be the best person they can be in their relationships.

One fan of the site made a very astute observation worth noting.
“There is no Dom without a sub”
Without the permission, approval, and gift of submission, there is no dominance. There can be dominant traits and behaviors, of course.
There are those who push their will on others in an authoritarian way. Some even resort to dictatorial tactics in order to ensure they have their way, failing to understand the true art of compassionate dominance.
A Dom is who he is as defined by his sub. She holds the power, she holds the keys, she holds the coveted gift of submission. It’s her strength that defines the heights and breath of the trust relationship that exists between a Dom and a sub.
In this series, we’ll explore the role of a Dom and a sub from the perspective of this writer’s vantage. This is not the definitive handbook but a discussion starter.
The objective is to continue this conversation throughout the year and facilitate learning between readers and writer.
