Epilogue of Ladders

Their bodies would start to rock in unison. He was the conductor and she was his orchestra. His hands were working her violin and they were raising the temperature of the loft well beyond it’s designed limits… he believed.

The visions, sadly, would come to an abrupt end just as Zoe’s hand found his solid member and was tugging on it to have him fill her with his seed.

Not once did the vision end with him released. Not once did he ever find out how she led him in.

What he did clearly remember, Zoe in the vision was very much enjoying every single bit of the moment as he was. How could he ever mention this to her. This was not a scene anyone he knew ever mentioned. He was convinced he was not a freak and abnormal, but this vision felt real. Too real. Extremely real. Yet, in school, Zoe never ever showed any signs that she was in his vision.

In Reality

Bret had no way of knowing what was in Zoe’s head. Worse, if he only knew that she was having a very similar vision, he would have probably had a massive heart attack. The difference however, Zoe had a much different relationship with her mom. And she talked to her mom about her visions.

Bret would never find out in time just what those conversations was about. The day he discovered that Zoe was open to him and willing to have him take her, it was too late. She had waited too many years and had finally accepted that Bret was not as in to her as she was into him.

The details of that tragic discovery can be shared another day, but not today.

In Zoe’s visions, she enjoyed every single moment of his caress. She enjoyed how respectfully he took control and kept her safe. Her visions did have that moment in the loft, something that left her very puzzled, as she never been to such a place.

She had heard about it through some of the other students who had gone to the trip with Bret. They had commented about how Bret seemed to be the most electrifying guy there and how he kept all these gals hovering about him. They were drooling, wanting, nearly begging in some instances. All for his time, attention, and affection.

She had heard about the loft. She was, at one point, very upset that Bret had gone up the ladder. While she knew it was silly to be so upset, her heart felt that they had a strong connection and that he shouldn’t have climbed the ladder to Lover’s Loft without her.

In her visions, she had made it clear to him that she was not happy about his choice to climb without her. In her visions, when he had set her straight about what had happened, she was overcomed with feelings she could not put into words. It’s as if Bret knew her soul and owned it.

Sadly, when she’d wake up, Bret was nowhere to be found in her room. She hated having to go refresh herself without having had the satisfaction of her longing being met. Nothing she did to grab his attention moved him. He had the most steadfast resolve to keep on his path. He was not swayed by anything and anyone.

Always the perfect gentleman, always kind, always sweet, always touching her heart, he was her knight. He ruthlessly protected her from all kinds of idiots who tried to get her to bed. He was not a fighter by any stretch of the imagination. He didn’t have to be. Bret had a look on his face that just got all the boys to simmer calm the f*ck down fast.

She loved being under his protection. She was marveled that he acted like he had no idea that he was her protector. The man was smooth. The man had presence. Zoe almost always got wet whenever she was close to him. She had to tolerate the hive of undeserving women who kept trying to have him to themselves, but she loved how he kept all the hyenas at bay. Bret never stooped down to any levels. He was a king and didn’t act like he knew he was one… arrogance free reign.

She longed to let Bret know how often she was reduced to a wet mess whenever he spoke to her with authority. Especially when it came to her sass in trying to convince him she was right when she was not. Bret just rose to the occasion and diplomatically yet very firmly put her in her place. He had a way of controlling situations with the tone of his voice.

How could he not know he was holding her love captive in his heart. Why would he never make a move? She had turned down many many advances. She had no issues keeping the boys in check, but there were a few notable men that would have been nice to date, but Bret though.

At some point, a gal can only wait but so long. Eventually, her mom explained that Bret might not know his powers at all. He was just naturally powerful but was being raised in a tribe that did not value that form of power. Especially considering how young they were, he probably had not had the chance to uncover his own powers yet.

  2. The entire series was very good. I am still left wondering what really happened in that loft and wanting to know if Bret finally understood what he was feeling and who he was. But that is why the series is so good.

    1. Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the series.

In the portfolio part of the site…I gave a hint into what took place in the loft.

Depending on how creativity strikes me….I may add another post down the road about the events in the loft. Will be a short post, as most of what happened was shared.

There are other related concepts linked to this series I hope to expand on in the future

Very much appreciate the time you took to read this…and comment 🙂
