Ladies and Gentlemen. This week is a bit too hectic to create new content to share. Having not skipped a week of sharing before, this week is not the time to start skipping weeks. Life outside of the blog is demand a tremendous amount of attention. Pulling from the deep archives, a story I thought I’d never ever share. A deeper walk away from the shallow end into the deep end. Enjoy. I’ve left the original content as close to untouched as possible. This is the young(er) version of my writing ability. Thank you for understanding. I hope to be back to creating new content in time for next week.
The Day Things Shifted

She walked into her house wondering where the time had gone and how did things go so wrong. The year was zooming away. The work was piling high. Not enough hours, not enough days, not enough sleep. That was the theme of life at the moment. Wishing for better moments, her shoulders were starting to slump in a permanent fatigue angle.
The goal was to up her game at work. The boss wanted so much more from her. Now that she was ‘forward facing’ at the company, she had invested a lot in making herself look corporately presentable. The bonus size seemed to suggest that it was working. Clients preferred to speak with her, coworkers preferred to collaborate with her, and the boss seemed to be more trusting of her with work. While that was all great and good, it didn’t matter much to her. Her heart was too heavy to care about those accolades
The start of the year had been rough. Her hubby had explained how he had grown tired of her. Was not happy with the relationship and wanted things to change. She felt blamed for all the issues they had at home. His lack of attraction to her, their rising pile of bills, their lack of social life, and worse, their lack of sex. This, in her opinion, was highly unfair.
So, this day, today, as she got home, she realized that all her efforts to win him over was going nowhere. She had to accept that things was dead between them and before the year was over, she’d have to get a divorce lawyer. She couldn’t deal with this sadness much longer
To add to her doldrums, in her absent mindedness, she had knocked over something into the corner of the room as she was heading to her closet. Time to take off the heels, no point keeping them on as hubby didn’t even noticed she’d come home. Her lovely short pleated skirt was a runaway hit at work. Her fitted blouse got many nods of approval from clients. Her hair had been done and everyone at work loved. Hubby didn’t even notice.
After removing her heels, she got down to look for whatever it was she had knocked over. It was hubby’s favorite pen. This further irritated her. Maybe, just maybe, she could push it further under the dresser. If she couldn’t have fun with him, at least she could have fun bothering him. As her mind wandered off, she didn’t notice that someone had walked into her room. Had she heard, she’d probably would have pulled her skirt down, as she no longer felt the desire to be sexy around her hubby.
The realization that he was in the room came a bit too late. He was already standing very close behind her and hovering in a very dominant pose over her. The flash of intense resentment and irritation caused her to blush bashfully as she tried to contain herself from jumping up and giving the impression she was excited to see him…because she was not. And she wasn’t sure he had seen her push his pen under the dresser.. If he had, her night was going to go down the drain quick fast as a fight she was not willing to lose would erupt and carry on into the early hours of the morning.
Waiting for him to step over her, the jerk had it in him to be that disrespectful, she was painfully aware of how exposed her bum was and how to any normal man, that would be an invite to a lot of passion. Can’t fix that now either, don’t want him to think he was welcomed.
Without much of a hint, she froze in panic as he knelt down very close to her. She could feel his heat, his energy, his vibe, and almost touch of his shirt on her back. This, of course, confused her badly. What was he about to do?
A gentle whisper next to her ear sent shivers of passion she forgot she had. One word. Just one. But how he said it was all the difference.
“Thanks”
What was he saying? She tried to turn around but was pleasantly surprised by a very strong yet caring masculine grip that held her in position. Though she tried a bit harder to turn and get up, she found herself pinned gently by a strong hand on her back, strong leg by her side and a very very aroused man against her exposed cheeks.
“Thank you for all the sacrifices you think I don’t see that you do to make this relationship work.”
The hunger in his voice was sending ripples of adrenaline and estrogen flooding through her core. His deepened breath and huskier voice had awakened in her something that had been dormant for a long while
Hubby pressed himself against her even more. But instead of just taking her, he told her that he fully intended to make up the lack of attention tonight to mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. He also apologized for the potential of early arrival, due to over excitement of anticipating her warmest of embraces.
Her body shook with waves of anticipation and intense arousal. She wanted him badly
He then offered a deal she couldn’t refused. If she allowed him to ravish her in this position, he’d guarantee that 30 minutes later, he would take her and plunder her fully in bed. How could she say no. The tears started to flow. He understood her pain. Based on the way he was touching her and holding her, he knew what she needed. Finally, she was going to get what she had been craving for so long
Then, he whispered something that threw her into full blown erotic land…. he said he’s been loving the upgrade of fashion and how she carried herself.. that he took pix of her to carry with him all day to remember her by.. and that he regretted not saying anything before to encourage her journey of self-discovery.. and that he’d do anything to help her along her journey.
She rocked back and pressed herself as hard as she could against his manhood to let him know that she was ready.. then.. arched her back into him… begging him not to wait… she closed her eyes to savor what was to come.. based on the tightened grip of his.. the floodgates were about to open and usher in a new era.
Very nice! I am enjoying the different perspectives of the “story” we each have in our own head of what the other wants or thinks. How many times do we allow our own story telling in our heads get in the way of our happiness and our desires, our needs and our wants. How many times do we not appreciate what the other is doing just as much as we want appreciated. Have we been open and honest about how we want love, passion, lust, sexual rendezvous? I enjoyed reading how he had been taking pictures of her and keeping them with him, how she thought he didn’t notice, how life gets in the way until that moment when the universe shifts and everything is new and what we wanted. Don’t settle and let that be it. Grow, evolve, change, accept the red bottom and the controlling hand….we might be surprised what we get back. Thank you for this short yet steamy post. I enjoyed it very much!

Fabulous. That’s awesome
Glad you enjoyed this short story.
I remember being so nervous the first time I wrote it.
Today, it felt right to touch on how things get complicated when conversations do not keep up with the every changing times
I love your great points and summary.
Looking forward to sharing more perspectives and ideas as well as learning from the creative process
