Let’s start off this year properly. First things first.

Wishing you all a wonderful and happy new year. All the warmest of success. Savory tantalizing romance. And of course, enjoyment of all the future posts that is to come with this blog.

What of New Year’s Resolutions?

This blogger does not do resolutions on New Year’s Day. In fact the only resolution that has worked very well for many years… not making any.

What will be new this year?

This blog started at the end of a closing year to set up some momentum for the year… that was 2017. This year, picking up where things left off… the march towards getting a book written and published.

Until that over arching goal is reached, there will be more long post stories and a few shorter length posts. The plan is to have at least one post a week every single week.

Last year, nearly 450k words were written in an effort to master the art of writing. This year, quality of quantity is the main focus, even if the ideal count is to reach 500k.

There are a few collaboration efforts that started last year and never saw the light of day. Others did. This year, it’s time to bring out these efforts to the blog. Not lost on me, many enjoy reading serial posts more than individual one time posts. So, there will be more of the sequences and serial stories.

Conclusion: Happy New Year

All things considered, this journey has been a blast. I have enjoyed getting to know a lot of people through my social media platform. Looking forward to meeting more. The slate is clean. The opportunities await us all. Let’s make this year the best year of our lives.
