The ‘50s were a special decade. The styles, the options. The music. A great time to live it up. Going retro and mixing up pinup with modern overtones was a lot of creative fun.

Throw in a bit of romance and you’ve got a musical selection worthy of blushing.

The Kit-Kat Jazz Quartet

A friend of the blog offered a sweet little challenge. A handful of photos to be inspiration for a story. They were kind enough to stipulate that this story could take place after the completion of another major writing project.

Turns out, the other project is a bit more massive than originally planned. Instead of waiting indefinitely, taking a little time to spin the creative wheels on a little break.

Bringing to you the original thoughts and musings of romance playing out a few little twists.

The Quartet

The idea took a life of it’s own. We have James Bowe, a dapper cellist who wants to romance his lady through retro styling and dances. Alice Kitz is an analyst who dances to Big Band music as a means of blowing off steam.

The two get hip to the jive and get in sync and uncover a passion for kinky play. The story doesn’t dive deeply into the private affairs of James and Alice, but, there is a bit of raciness and naughtiness that is hidden in plain sight.

With a little experimental moments of pain, these two uncover a lot of pleasure that comes from being bound and restricted to the confines of closeness.

This four part series may be the beginning of a few more ideas in this collaboration effort.

A little break

The jingle for Kit-Kats comes in handy, if you’re in need of an ear-worm. The play on words will zig and zag throughout the story.

What will happen next to this duo? Who are the members of this elusive private book club? Will James work his cello into a frenzy?

All these questions, so little introductory time. At the end of this portfolio page will be the listing of the four chapters of this story. Any and all bonus materials will also be listed.

Photos with a Twist - Taking photos shouldn't be difficult, right? Somehow, James and Alice manage to make themselves and others blush as their photo session turns very naughty. Who knew that lust could be so fabulous to the rhythm of a romance
